Wrong cut

What is my game about

Wrong Cut is a free browser party game for 5 players (host can change lobby settings). Everyone shares one bomb with colored wires. Each round you talk on voice chat, play one ability card, and vote on which wire to cut. Roles are secret — Crew tries to defuse the bomb, Saboteurs want it to blow up or the clock to run out. It’s social deduction: bluffing, private hints, and arguing about who to trust.

Early development — mechanics and balance still changing. Your feedback directly shapes what ships next.

How to access the game

Play in your browser at: https://wrongcut.com

Also on itch.io (embedded): https://glovacky.itch.io/wrong-cut

No account — pick a display name and join or create a room with a code.

How to install it

No install. Works in a modern browser (Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Safari). Desktop recommended — lots of UI on a phone.

You need voice chat (Discord or any VOIP). The game has no built-in voice.

The reward for the Playtester

How will I reward the playtesters?

Wrong Cut is free now and I intend to keep it free — so no “buy the game later” pitch. What I can offer people who actually play and leave useful feedback:

Credits / special thanks — your name (or nickname) in an in-game or site “Thanks to playtesters” section if you’re okay with that
Discord recognition — a Playtester role and shoutouts when updates ship because of your notes
Devlog mentions — meaningful feedback credited in itch.io devlogs (with your permission)
Early heads-up — first to hear about playtest sessions, balance passes, and new cards before public posts
Your input on the game — testers who stick around get a real say on what’s fun, what’s cut, and what gets tuned next
If you want to stay anonymous, that’s fine — feedback still counts, I just won’t list your name anywhere.

No cash or vouchers at this stage (solo early-dev project), but I’ll treat good feedback as something worth remembering and crediting properly.
