Seasons of Solitude

Seasons of Solitude is a turn-based strategy and resource management game set in a prehistoric world inspired by Estonian nature and myth. In each trial, the Exile prepares rites for food, water, and materials, while their Echo completes them later to claim the yield. You reveal the land, choose which areas to rely on, and secure the required resources in shelter before the trial closes around you.

The core mechanic is how the land responds to you. Every tile you gather from depletes and can cycle into a different state. Overuse an area and it degrades into barren grassland, weakening everything around it. Ease off, restore worn tiles, and the land recovers into something usable again. The whole game is reading that cycle and deciding how hard to push before you break what's feeding you. There's no game quite like it. It's not a city builder, not a roguelike, not a 4X. The closest feeling is managing a living system that pushes back.

A free demo is available as a direct download. You'll receive the download link after accepting the playtest terms. The build runs on Windows. Download, unzip, and launch the executable, no Steam or installation required. A typical play session takes around 30 minutes to 1 hour. The demo is playable and complete but still being refined based on player feedback.
