Defector's Weld - 0.10.41

Defector's Weld is a turn-based roguelike deckbuilder. You lead a party of four heroes through a branching node of fights, building a shared deck of those four heroes as you go. So you can customize your deck trying to find perfect synergies by drafting different teams. Each hero having 21 cards in their pool so you start with a pool of 84 cards. Two acts are playable in this build, with 45 potential encounters and 10 heroes to build parties from.

Think of it as a darkest dungeon meets Slay the Spire in terms of vibe and mechanics.

Each hero brings their own pool of cards and their own role, and where they stand in your formation matters as much as what you draft. What's also different is positioning. Your four characters fight in ranks and where they stand changes what hits them. Attacks hit to the front enemy by default, but cards with Aim let you freely choose any target, and enemies have their own targeting logic you'll need to be aware of.
